I hold a Master of Arts in Community Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy program from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia. I received a B.A. in Psychology from Pontificia Bolivariana University in Bucaramanga, Colombia. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a License Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia. I am Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP) with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia. I opened New Sun Mental Health Center, Inc., in 2008. I am bilingual, English-Spanish. Some of our clients have experienced the legal consequences of their alcohol or drug abuse with a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charge. We understand that a DUI experience is a difficult situation. Nevertheless, New Sun Mental Health Center, Inc. perceives it as an individual's opportunity to evaluate alternatives. We also provide: Anger Management Program, Values Clarification Program, Individual, Couple & Family Therapy, School alcohol and drug prevention conferences, and Workshops for Drug Free work place.
