"People do well if they can, not if they want to." Some things such as sadness, anxiety, difficulty getting along with others, or managing anger aren't choices. They are challenges. If you find that you aren't doing well in relationships or would like to learn to manage emotions, it's my job to help! My passion is helping people learn new skills to overcome daily challenges. My therapy can address mood, anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, and social skills. I will work with you to address your specific challenges. I have experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy. I can provide clinical consultation to schools needing assistance with addressing children's challenging behaviors in the classroom. I also offer clinical supervision to those clinicians seeking licensure. I have training in the Collaborative Problem Solving Approach, Yoga for the Traumatized Body and Therapeutic Adventure .These are just a few of the approaches that can be incorporated into your individualized therapy.
