GulfWinds Montgomery is Alabama's premier outpatient treatment program for sexual addiction, sexual compulsivity and other intimacy issues. We offer a compassionate, non-shaming approach that supports the entire family through the healing process. Our program consists of assessment and evidenced-based treatment in a safe, confidential and comfortable atmosphere. All of our staff at GulfWinds Montgomery are certified sex addiction therapists (CSAT) and are licensed professionals in the state of Alabama. As the director, I have more than 20 years experience and have undergone extensive specialized training in treating sex addiction and other intimacy issues. We provide a multi-dimensional track for the treatment of sexual addiction based on the establishment of core recovery tasks. This task-based approach helps one track their own progress. As staff have been trained by Patrick Carnes (world-renowned), we use an approach that has been proven to work. We also offer a Spouses / Partners Program. Spouses and partners are often burdened with feelings of anger, shame, confusion, and isolation as a result of the betrayal of trust. We offer specific and supportive treatment options. In addition, we offer marital and couples therapy and an adolescent program.
