"It isn't what happens to you that is important, it is how you handle those challenges that makes the difference." I believe that anyone can improve their life with the right tools, attitude and motivation. I've worked with a wide range of individuals, children, families and groups for over 15 years and have been in private practice for 8 years. The main focus of my work has been in the areas of addiction, relationships, grief and loss, trauma recovery, and children's behavior. I am a strong advocate of positive psychology, animal assisted therapy and expressive techniques which uses art, music, dance, etc., as part of the therapeutic process. I have been a music educator for over 25 years and I'm certified by Remo HealthRythms as a group drumming facilitator. I receive referrals from all over the United States and I'm one of only 40 therapists in Florida that has worked directly with clients for follow-up after an appearance on The Dr. Phil Show.
