I received my Master of Counseling degree from Idaho State University in 2014. I feel that it is important for a counselor to see you holistically, and that there are many factors that contribute to your mental wellness. I also feel that counseling is a collaborative effort between you and the counselor. Lastly, part of my counseling philosophy is to create a space that is warm, understanding, and nonjudgmental for you. With play therapy the aim is for the child to try something new that would otherwise be too scary to try outside the office. I have experience working with a variety of populations and concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, and career concerns. I have special interesting in working with children and play therapy. I am AutPlay Level I Certified which is a play based approach treating autism, dysregulation issues, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Sullivan Mental Health Services provides a full range of mental health services. Insurances accepted: Blue Cross of Idaho, Aetna and Medicaid. For people without insurance we base our chargers on a sliding fee scale. Please bring proof of one month's worth of income to determine the fees for services.
