I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist experienced in working with individuals, couples and with women's issues including infertility and illness. Predominantly, I work with couples and individuals on issues requiring sex therapy. I have the honor and distinction of being the only female AASECT certified Sex Therapist in the state of Maine until 2013. Clients with sexuality concerns, sexual dysfunction and pain, gender identity questioning and intimate relationship issues are welcome. Consultations with parents and educators as well as workshops on raising sexually healthy children is also a specialty. We are all sexual beings from birth. Often early messages, culture, religion, health and previous experiences can affect sexuality and intimacy. In therapy, you can learn new ways to express and explore the joy of sexuality in all of the complexity discussed above. Poly and Kink aware therapist. As a cancer survivor & past experience with infertility, I understand the effects of illness on the physical, emotional, psychological, sexual and spiritual aspects of our being.
