I am a licensed clinical social worker who also holds a masters degree in psychology. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, children, and families. I believe that most important in the healing/recovery process is the professional relationship formed between the client and the therapist. I also believe that the greatest healing occurs within an atmosphere of warmth, compassion, and acceptance while working towards the client-centered goals. I have a particular interest in uncovering long-standing patterns of behavior which drive symptoms. Areas in which I have a particular interest are: families of divorce, grief & loss in children and adults, end-of-life concerns, situational depression, anxiety, parental coping skills, recovery from a variety of traumas including a history of sexual abuse, and couple's counseling. I am working within a family mental health practice where referrals can be made for medication management within the same practice if appropriate and necessary. The office setting is private and comfortable and confidentiality is upheld at all times. I will work with your schedule to provide a convenient time for therapy sessions.
