I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Eating Disorder Expert and an Advocate for the Therapeutic Healing and Recovery Process. I am the Founder / Clinical Director of A New Beginning, an innovative outpatient treatment center, dedicated to the comprehensive care of all eating disorders, morbid obesity, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma and relationship issues. Deeply committed to the healing process of each client, I believe in the ability to FULLY recover from all eating disorders, and am passionate about helping individuals heal from the psychological wounds and emotional defficiencies which confine them. A nationally recognized Eating Disorder Expert, my work is frequently featured in the media. I have had the honor of working with the cast of abc's Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition and was featured as one of three eating disorder specialists in E! Network's "What's Eating You." Regardless of current emotional / behavioral disorder or past experiences of abuse, neglect or loss, everybody has the ability to live life in an empowered, whole, meaningful manner.
