The counseling I do is centered around you. It is based on exploring who you are, what's going on for you, and who you want to be. What your values are and what you want from your life. I'm curious to hear about how you're getting your needs met in your life, or what you feel you need. I'm not here to judge you, but to help you tell both of us how you arrived where you are and how to get to where you want to go. I love working with people, hearing their stories, finding out who they are. I'm continually amazed at their uniqueness and strength, and the ability of the human spirit to survive and persevere. And where we find light in the darkness. I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach that includes psychodynamic theory, control mastery, motivational interviewing, stages of change, and mindfulness.
