I have provided out-patient psychological evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults for over 30 years. I work primarily with "problems in living" including depression, anxiety, adjustment to disorders and diseases such as cancer, and relationship issues. I have a very general practice which I enjoy immensely. Good therapy consists of a close, working alliance with my clients. I am actively engaged in this process of examining issues you wish to address and assisting you find solutions. I consider myself to be primarily a cognitive behaviorist who also will use any approach validated by research to assist clients. I am helpful to those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I try very hard to assist my clients understand their behavior and assist them where changes would improve their overall well being. I help with a variety of issues including issues of loss due to death, divorce, or illness, relationship issues, and general issues related to stress management, anxiety, and depression. I have provided independent psychological evaluation for people applying for social security, workers' compensation, and veterans' disability for over 30 years.
