I believe that the quality of the relationship you have with a therapist is the most important aspect of counseling. I have a diverse background that helps me connect with many different types of people. I am compassionate and understanding. I have worked in community mental health, a nonprofit family counseling center and a private psychiatric practice. I now have my own private practice. I work with individuals, couples and families. I have experience with treating anxiety and depressive disorders, marital and relationship problems, family violence, and children with behavioral problems. Parenting issues, helping families through divorce, step-parenting, and setting boundaries with adult children are areas of special focus and expertise. I am very flexible and work to meet the needs of my clients. I schedule appointments at convenient times.
