I am a board certified clinical neuropsychologist practicing in a private practice setting. My practice is primarily neuropsychological testing of patients presenting with memory disorders, dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and mood disorders. I also complete psychological evalutations for ADHD, learning disorders, and behavioral disorders. I provide psychological counseling services to persons experiencing mood and anxiety disorders using a cognitive-behavioral approach. Neuropsychological testing can aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning of persons experiencing neurological disorders. Testing can be helpful in defining a person's cognitive and emotional strengths and weaknesses to help them lead more independent and satisfying lives. I am one of 600 board certified clinical neuropsychologists in the country from the American Board of Professional Psychology. I received my post-doctoral training at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
