Many people find it frightening to seek out counseling for the first time. They maybe feeling vulnerable, scared, depressed, anxious, or they just know that they need to make changes in their lives. Counseling is a process, a chance to make changes in your life. I see my job as helping You, Your child, or Your Family become healthier, and happier. Let me help you begin that process towards making your life 'different'. Making the decision to change your life can be challenging, scary, but it also can be rewarding. The issues that I enjoy working with are Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, pre- and post-Adoption issues, Women's issues, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, as well as working with families through a variety of life transitions. One of the joys of my job is that I get to "play" while working with children. When I work with children, I utilize a variety of play therapy techniques to help them communicate, as well as learn coping techniques. Playing, is how children learn new ideas, skills, or concepts.
