I am a seasoned therapist who enjoys working with people from all walks of life. The people who seek me out for therapy tend to be highly motivated individuals who find themselves emotionally stuck, often for the first time in their lives. I enjoy helping folks to understand themselves and their predicament better so that they can live a healthier life. I specialize in treating anxiety and stress disorders. These problems more often than not are also accompanied by mood issues, physical pain and relationship problems. So our work tends to be holistic. We will focus on the quality of your relationships as well as your coping skills and unique physical and psychological make up. I received my initial training at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. I also recently completed a 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training Program. My clients often tell me that I create a kind and non-judgmental space. I believe that this is the optimal environment for promoting productive therapy and positive change.
