I've been providing caring and compassionate therapeutic services to adults and children for many years. I help adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relational problems and many other needs using Cognitive Behavioral and Person Centered interventions. I utilize directive and non-directive play therapy interventions to help children process their needs/feelings in age appropriate manner. I've assisted children/families who have experienced traumatic events. I treat all my clients with dignity and respect. I am dedicated to helping adults and children improve social, emotional and behavioral functioning. I offer both faith-based and secular counseling. Person Centered and Cognitive behavioral interventions help clients identify their inner strengths, while challenging and changing negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors that interfere with leading a positive and successful life. Play therapy provides the child with an age appropriate venue for identifying, expressing and processing their needs/feelings and developing coping skills. I offer Christian counseling for those seeking faith-based, Christ centered assistance. Faith based counseling acknowledges Christ's healing power.
