A lengthy tenure in hospital settings has given me a strong knowledge base and mentorship from several highly skilled physicians and therapists. Facilitating the recovery of many from alcoholism and addiction has been immensely rewarding. A 20-year marriage and parenthood provide me with hard-earned insight into relationship and family issues. My style is dynamic, yet compassionate and I balance intensity with an ever-present sense of humor. I incorporate various principles of both Western and Eastern spirituality into the therapy process when desired and view mindfulness meditation as a powerful vehicle for self-awareness and healing My approach is solution-oriented, action-driven and present-focused.
