I have been working with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults for over 20 years and love what I do. In my work with children and adolescents I am very family centered. I will provide parental support and education, in addition to teaching your child or teen skills for coping with anxiety, stress, anger and difficult changes through art, play, games and other creative approaches. If you are a couple looking for help, I will support you both to see which negative communication and/or behavioral habits keep you from having the relationship you would like to have. I specialize in working with families; couples with alternative relationship styles; and in helping individuals to cope better with anxiety and mood imbalances through cognitive behavioral therapy - which can teach you how to balance your moods and manage your anxiety by changing some of your negative, self-defeating thought patterns. I am often holistic in my practice, helping my clients to find which aspects of their lifestyle -including diet, sleep, work-play balance and exercise that could change in order to feel better mentally, emotionally and physically. I also have some training in nutritional approaches to mental health.
