My approach to therapy is driven by empathy, strength, trust, and understanding. Though there are multiple clinical orientations at my disposal, I believe the primary means of change lies in developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and carefully listening to your story. My background in family systems theory enables me to work with you in considering how multiple factors including your relationships, health, and spirituality are impacting your daily life. As a Christian, I believe the Bible brings hope and meaning to life. As a therapist I am able to couple my clinical knowledge with Biblical truth as it pertains to your growth through the course of therapy. I pull strongly from a solution-focused perspective, whereby we will look at your personal strengths and past successes in addressing your presenting concerns. Most of all, I will listen to your needs and work with you to identify which type of therapy works best for you.
