I am a therapist who believes in a healthy, positive approach to dealing with life issues. I utilize a holistic approach, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit. I believe in conscious living, that is the increased awareness of the choices we make in our lives. I have over 15 years of clinical experience working with individuals of all ages and concerns. I'm highly specialized in working with children (and families) in the use of play therapy. Play in the natural language of children and play therapy allows children to use their natural language to resolve their problems. I am a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor (RPT-S). I also provide animal assisted therapy with my therapy dog, Athena and horses. This treatment is a unique method in which the dog or horse serves as a co-therapist. It is interactive and enjoyable.
