I am a certified Jungian analyst (a graduate of the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich), licensed as a Pastoral Counselor in N.C. Life often moves along quite easily, filled with purpose and meaning. But there are moments when we feel hurt, afraid, confused, stuck, or overcome by something unexpectedly disturbing. We can't seem to move forward on our own. Such times come to every person in varying degrees. Consulting a therapist with experience and integrity can be of immense benefit. I can assist you with insurance reimbursement, although I do not handle insurance claims myself. My role as therapist involves assisting in a healing process that is both natural and unique to you. I am not as invested in implementing psychological techniques as I am in getting to know you personally and in helping you discover your own individual answers and responses to the challenges and obstacles you are facing. An element unique to my approach is the art of dream interpretation. Dream material offers an unbiased perspective, as well as an approach to healing that originates with you. You can experience some relief in the moment, but also learn something about yourself that will continue to help you after your therapy ends.
