I am currently a counseling intern working toward my PhD. I work with 2 amazing psychologist who supervise my work. My Ideal client is someone who wants to take control of their lives. Someone who wants to work in a healthy therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, compassion and honesty. Someone who is willing to do the work to find the best person they can be. Coming into therapy a client needs to realize that there is no judgement that everyone has issues. It is how we deal with our issues is what makes a person happy, healthy and successful. I've learned that life happens and everything is not always black and white. I enjoy working with survivors of all types of abuse, veterans with PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and sexuality. The clinicians I work with are all compassionate diverse professionals with unique perspectives. All of us went into the field to help others.
