I have recently gone into private practice as a means to continue providing quality mental health and substance abuse services for patients in the community after the unexpected closing of the mental health facility in which I was employed for ten years. My goal is to streamline continuity of care for existing patients and to become a resource for others in the community needing help with issues related to depression, anxiety, family and marital problems, life adjustment issues, drug and alcohol problems, grief, past abuse and trauma. I have a speciality in the treatment of drug and alcohol addictions. I am very familiar with the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and educating those that are interested in this support system. Relapse prevention and making healthy lifestyle changes are the focus of my interventions with patients dealing with addiction problems I have developed a practice that is personal and client centered. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each individual. I can be contacted directly to schedule appointments and I offer an after hour on call service for those in a crisis situation.
