Entering into therapy is an important process. With over 15 years of experience, I work with individuals and couples to help define and promote change in their lives. I provide a nurturing, collaborative environment to explore any challenges or barriers which may influence one's current well being. Each person is unique and I work with clients to explore and establish goals that can enhance their interpersonal relationships and support healthy emotional functioning. My practice involves treating anxiety disorders and working with issues related to life transitions, grief and loss, and identity/sexual orientation exploration. I have also worked extensively with individuals living with HIV. My work with couples involves being a sound board to help strengthen communication and support an authentic relationship. Depending on the presenting concerns, I may utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight Oriented Therapy, and/or Biofeedback to promote emotional health and wellness. Biofeedback is used to help clients learn how to change physiological activity for the purposes of improving health and performance such as reducing muscle tension/pain management.
