Feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt, restlessness, worry, and frustration are normal at all stages of life. Our bodies and emotions have important ways of alerting us when something isn't quite "right" with the way we are living, working, making choices, or relating to others. Seeking help through counseling can bring us into a full awareness of who we are and who we want to be - giving us a sense of direction, self- worth, and purpose along the way. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing difficulties at home, at work, at school, and in their relationships. My counseling approach collaboratively builds a system of support, accountability, and encouragement to help people relieve anxiety, heal from trauma, recover from depression, overcome challenges, and believe in themselves. I have over 10 years of professional counseling experience with individual adults, couples, teenagers, children, and families. I am extensively trained in Jungian Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapies. I am also a specialist in helping to create and sustain ethnic, cultural, racial, gender, and sexual identities.
