I focus on my client's needs, no matter what age, gender or other personal persuasions. We identify the problem areas together and work towards a balanced solution. I help empower people to find answers for their healing and teach them to relate to the important people in their lives in a healthier manner. Like a puzzle, I help connect the dots of my client's physical, emotional and spiritual conditions to bring wholeness to their life. Setting boundaries, addressing co-dependency and building self-esteem are part of my therapy goals for each person. Communication is a key element. My therapy styles are eclectic with client-centered, familly and play therapy. I counsel couples for relationship issues and individuals with mental health diagnoses for depression, anxiety, grief, anger and addictions. I also see children from preschool to teen years for school, family and peer issues. My experience includes a private practice in Troy, MO for 10 years; in-home counseling for children and families in Lincoln, Pike, St. Charles, St. Louis, Troy and Warren counties; family therapy for 3 years in a hospital-based program for chemical dependency and as an adoption specialist for Catholic Services.
