I am a licensed professional counselor committed to helping individuals find effective solutions to their present concerns. Individual, marital, or family therapy is a process that seeks to help persons gain greater insight about themselves and effectively address life's challenges. I am sensitive to multicultural issues and work well with individuals of various backgrounds. While my therapeutic orientation depends on the type of issues presented, my views concerning mental health are holistic. I recognize an individual's spirituality as being a central component around which lasting mental health may be achieved. I am able to address issues related to spirituality with clients so inclined. I graduated from the University of Miami and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and have worked in various settings, including private centers, schools, and psychiatric facilities. In addition to providing therapy, I'm an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Dean of the School of Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. I also conduct seminars for organizations.
