My clients are successful, highly-motivated professionals who find that certain areas of life are becoming unmanageable. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT®) specializing in sex/porn addictions, partners of sex addicts, multiple addictions, trauma, abuse, and PTSD. I trained under Patrick Carnes at the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). Under Dan Allender I earned an advanced counseling certificate in trauma-focused narrative therapy. Addiction, abuse and trauma are viewed as symptoms rather than defining characteristics. I seek an approach to recovery that embraces positive, proactive, sustainable change. Change occurs through crisis, chance or choice. Conscious choice brings constructive, sustainable change. I help you focus on re-narrating negative thoughts, redefining formative relationships, restoring a healthy self-identity and regaining an emotional, physical, and spiritual balance. My goal is to accurately assess then offer personalized, safe, therapeutic interventions. IITAP is setting the industry standard in addiction education. Our practitioners have premier training and cutting-edge educational resources to treat people with addictive and compulsive sexual behaviors and multiple addictions. Our CSAT® (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) program is one of the most highly regarded programs of its kind.
