Loss can be devastating and can come about in many forms: illness, death, job or marriage, to name a few. Your world and you are forever changed. I can guide you through this journey in a gentle and caring way. I am an experiential therapist. I believe you are best served in a way that compliments your learning style. This is what you see, hear and through the use of hands on activities. Grief work gives me the opportunity to help you learn to live with your loss and grow in the midst of it at a time when you are most vulnerable. I have been facilitating bereavement groups for 7 years, train/mentor facilitators and run grief related workshops. I am also a Certified Grief Counselor (CT) I am a spouse survivor of Huntington's Disease, a devastating hereditary, progressive, and terminal neurological disorder. I learned how illness in a family affects the caregiver and the family system. This experience gave me valuable insight and a platform for my therapy and grief counseling services.
