I have journeyed with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing a wide variety of issues. Although I spend a lot of time exploring the specific problem that brings you into counseling or therapy, I will also explore in depth the nature of your relationships with other significant people in your life. I will do this in such a way as to challenge ineffective ways of living and provide for personal change to occur. Change at this level requires more than new skills or understanding. I will help you work through and take responsibility for the specific situations you are facing. I have journeyed with clients who have a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, marital conflict, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, post traumatic stress, grief and loss, sexual addiction, infidelity, homosexuality, divorce, self-harm, and sexual abuse. I work alongside my partner, Michael, to provide additional counseling or therapy for couples in crisis. We also provide opportunities for brief intensive therapy on a case by case basis.
