My role as therapist is to provide you with safe, nurturing guidance as you seek personal growth and inner peace. I believe that everyone is capable of change and has the power to choose differently, thus increasing self-fulfillment and joy in their life. I offer a warm, caring atmosphere for you to explore your wants and needs, increase awareness of barriers to meeting those wants and needs, and feel supported in making changes. The experience of negative and/or traumatic events can have residual effects throughout life. I am experienced and competent in helping trauma survivors process their history and store the memories in healthy ways. In addition to more traditional talk and sensory therapies, I can also offer you more intensive healing through hypnosis and hypnotherapy. I believe in the inherent worth of all people and enjoy supporting others as they connect with the positive, healthy truths about themselves. My therapeutic values and beliefs are strongly connected to my Christian faith. I welcome the inclusion of religion/spirituality as an important part of a person's healing journey.
