Behavioral and mental health services We use a strengths-based approach to help people in their recovery; this approach to working with clients is called person-centered planning (PCP). PCP is a process (involving families, friends, and other persons identified by the client) for treatment planning and supporting clients. The PCP process is centered on honoring clients's strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. This process is used to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and is used to promote community inclusion and participation; independence; and productivity. Specific services provided include: Case Management and Service Coordination, Drug and Alcohol Treatment (Intensive Out Patient and Out Patient), Mental Health Counseling, Life Skill Classes, Psychoeducational Groups and Nurse Practitioner Services. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Easter Seals-Goodwill Behavioral Health and Family Services offers person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment and medication management, case management and life skills classes for adults regardless of race, creed, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, national origin, age, criminal history, veteran status or disability/handicap status. Staff: Our Staff: ** Jade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Jade practices Psychosocial Development Theory, looking at how internal and external forces shape life development. She believes in a strengths based approach, focusing on the abilities individuals already possess and how to better use them to be successful in their current goals and future endeavors. She has specialized training in Cognitive Self Change (CSC), Crisis Intervention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Sand Tray Therapy and Strengths Based Treatment. ** Heather: Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Heather's background includes working with adults that are or have been incarcerated, persons on community supervision (probation or parole), substance dependence, severe and persistent mental health, co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities and physical disabilities. She developed and manages the Caldwell Behavioral Health program that specializes in the DUI court and Drug Court population (specialty courts). ** Alexis: Alexis is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. She specializes in working with adults. Her work experience includes working with drug court participants, individuals recently released from incarceration, college students, and LGBTQ populations
