I am in the business of helping people make changes. We are often resistant to change because the patterns we are in tend to perpetuate themselves. If you left the counselor's office and felt completely relaxed and at peace throughout the session...it means no change has happened. Although the end desired result might be relaxation and peace, often a journey is required to get there. Change requires tension, and that is why it is so difficult. I strive to help you with respect, integrity and compassion. I offer in-home and in-school therapy when needed. I provide therapy for adults and children, families and couples. I have been in private practice for over 15 years, with over 25 years of professional experience working with Anxiety, Depression, Behavioral Problems, Relationship Problems, Parenting Issues, A.D.H.D., Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder and more. I believe in a client centered approach. That means that you define the goals. You have the first say in what gets accomplished in therapy. My approach is solution-focused, behavioral, goal oriented with an emphasis on efficiency. My approach is to help you get better and out of therapy.
