**Now accepting new adult clients for early afternoon appointment times.*** I focus on helping people cope with all types of ADHD. Treatment goals include addressing broad emotional issues related to living with ADHD down to specific issues such as how to organize a notebook. Special emphasis is placed on success and contentment with school. Children are often more successful coping with ADHD when they understand how their own particular brain works, what their strengths are, and how they can combine those two to come up with their own solutions. Parenting children with ADHD can be a challenge, particularly since school is so much different today than it was 20 to 25 years ago. I can teach parents ways to help interact positively with their ADHD child, and also how to interact positively and meaningfully with teachers. I have worked inside several different public and private schools over the past 15 years as a school counselor and in other capacities as well. I understand how to talk to you and your child about school, and how to talk to school about your child.
