In addition to state of the art therapy groups and workshops, I offer individual and couples therapy, personal consultation, and skills coaching.Guided by research validated approaches, such as interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), my work is always relationship driven. Integration of mindfulness skills enhances the effectiveness of clients in pursuing their relationship goals. While recognizing the importance of the past, the foundation of my work is always the present. My experience and innovation offer clients a unique combination of what is tried and true with what is tested and new. Having concentrated in Buddhism and psychology while at the Harvard Divinity School, I am energized by the recent contributions of masters such as Jon Kabat-Zinn and Marsha Linehan. Demystifying therapy through a consumer oriented approach has been a hallmark of work at Group by Design long before HIPAA became part of the therapeutic vocabulary.
