Usually, we are afraid to go into therapy due to fear of judgment and possibly even shame. However, most people do not realize that by staying silent, the fear and shame only continues to increase. I utilize an approach that is individualized for every client and provide an environment in which is empathic and supportive. I believe that all of us have the capacity to relate to each other's feelings, even if the experience is not the same. Therapy is the best gift you can give yourself. We give so much of ourselves to others. For the past 5 years, I have worked with clients in both residential and outpatient treatment facilities for chemical dependency and eating disorders. Additionally, I have worked with personality disorders, trauma, co-occurring disorders and self-harm extensively. I am in located in O'Fallon.
