Hello, and thank you for stopping by to learn about what I offer. I'm a psychologist whose area of expertise includes life-coaching (which may include living a healthier lifestyle), stress management, depression, anxiety, and particularly, specializations in chronic insomnia, pain management, and dealing with chronic illness. My goal is to collaborate with individuals interested in taking an active role in learning how to resolve their difficulties; treatment is frequently very brief. In addition, I also work with individuals to help them more fully develop their potential. This includes helping people re-discover their inborn strengths, clarify their values, and develop purpose. This leads to increased self confidence, personal leadership, and living a life based upon integrity: the aim being to live a more balanced, authentic life, and to use this awareness to live with passion and the achievement of life goals. My formal training includes a clinical internship in health psychology at the Yale University-affiliated VA Connecticut Healthcare System, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Dartmouth Medical School in behavioral medicine. My passion however, lies in helping people live a more authentic, values based life.
