In the climate of the playroom, with my support your child will have an opportunity to begin the search of self and discover the ability to cope with fears, struggles, uncertainties & changes in a meaningful way in order to thrive. I engage parents/caregivers in the therapy, because their insight and commitment are extremely critical to the success of the process. After all, they are the experts on their families. I have extensive training in play and filial therapy as well as professional experience in the field working with children, adolescents and adults in mental health agencies, residential facilities, orphanages and intervention programs in Atlanta. ADULTS: I believe in the creative and healing potential within each of us & trust that accepting & honest relationship between you and me will help you overcome your life challenges and empower you to live authentically. I am especially sensitive to adaptation issues originating from cultural differences, gender roles, sexual identity & other dissimilarities from mainstream culture.
