I believe in lifes journey people experience changes and transitions which challenge our ability to adapt and grow. Difficulty in this process can be expressed in a variety of ways including feelings of depression, anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbance, change in appetite, reliance on alcohol/drugs, lack of energy, and other symptoms. Often these symptoms are early warning signs we are having difficulty with these changes. Sometimes normal life changes like loss of a relationship, leaving home, or birth of a child can be stressful. Unusual events like traumatic loss, illness, physical injury, and combat experiance present unique personal challenges. As a therapist i work with individuals, couples and family systems to assist them in their unique situation and personalities in a safe and supportive envirornment to maxamize each individuals potential and authenticity. This can be acheived through a variety of methods tailored to each individuals situation.
