I am a board certified adult general psychiatrist with special interest in psychopharmacology and Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy. I have been in practice for over 30 years and worked for 3 years at Sierra Tucson which is a world famous center for the treatment of patients with substance abuse, mood disorders, trauma and eating disorders. My early training was in New York City at Downstate Medical Center. I spent 28 years in private practice in Hartford Connecticut where I was also on the staff of the Institute or Living. I enjoy combining my expertise and experience in psycho pharmacology and psychotherapy to help patients with a wide variety of problems including patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorders, substance abuse disorders, attention deficit disorders and adjustment disorders. I have had extensive training in Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy which informs my approach to patients in the categories mentioned above.
