I enjoy working with individuals age 9 and older who are presenting with a variety of issues that include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, relationship and adjustment issues, self-esteem, and women's issues. I have over 20 years of experience as a licensed counselor and I utilize the most effective and research supported treatment methods. I feel that it is very important to establish an effective therapeutic relationship with my patients as we work together to achieve their therapeutic goals. I was raised in Morgantown and attended West Virginia University where I received a B.S. in Elementary Education, a M.A. in Counseling, and an EdD in Educational Leadership Studies - Higher Education with a minor in Counseling. I have worked in private practice for the past 14 years.
