Taking the first step in counseling can be the most difficult one. I am committed to meeting each client as a unique individual with his/her own unique story. I offer a Christian focus to counseling for those who desire this. I am committed to providing a safe environment where clients can experience the freedom to explore their own beliefs and make their own choices regarding life and relationships. Every client, couple, or family brings their own perspective(s), and I look forward to getting to know each individual or system. I am committed to the uniqueness of every client, his/her experiences, and his/her most effective methods of learning, communicating, and growing. I offer a variety of ways in which to address issues and express oneself, including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, sandtray, action methods, & more traditional talk therapy. I value each client and their commitment to healing. I have worked in the mental health field since 1992, and I also have experienced my own healing journey. I understand the significant challenges counseling presents. Clients are empowered throughout their process as they work towards living an abundant life.
