I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Idaho and in private practice since l997. Experienced treating individuals, couples, adolescents, children, families and extended family members. Topics addressed include: interpersonal communication improvement, anxiety spectrum including obsessive compulsive disorder, effects of attention and depressive disorders, family transitions/communication improvement, divorce, post-divorce structure, and addiction and its impact on the family. I spent three years as a school counselor at all grade levels and work regularly with teens struggling with attention and mood challenges. My training is primarily in postmodern (collaborative) and cognitive therapies. I have experience using a variety of treatment modalities and am trained to address trauma using EMDR. Family systems experience at Seattle Pacific University, and weekly consult group participation, both provide the foundation for work with couples and families. I enjoy working as an independent practitioner at an office in North Boise. I practice with three other independent individual/family therapists. Most insurance accepted.
