Welcome! That's how you will feel when you enter the home-like atmosphere of Harmony Farm. I specialize in helping families with their children's behavioral problems of 0-18 years of age.My clients recognize a need for change and are seeking help. They are willing to work and are motivated. "It takes a village to raise a child" and we work together to find support and resources in the community. Most importantly, my clients are willing to push themselves, even when it feels uncomfortable, because they have their sight set on their goals. My clients and I use a team approach to finding the root of issues instead of just treating the symptoms. I use a creative approach to therapy such as various venues such as art, music, sand, and play as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy uses a horse, and two specialist to promote awareness in individuals, families, and groups. We use metaphor as a tool to increase insight. This is not horseback riding, but ground work- activities with the horse. There is a task given and it is the experience that is therapeutic.
