I am the founder of Stepwise, a nonprofit clinic offering therapies for children. I am a licensed pediatric psychologist, with post doctoral respecialization in Clinical Neuropsychology. I specialize in Attention Deficit Disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disabilities and behavioral issues. I believe children are complex and there is never ONLY ONE reason for underperformance or misbehavior. I integrate my training and knowledge of child through the disciplines of school, neuropsychology, clinical, and developmental neuropsychology to integrate the complex cognitive, affective and language needs of children and adolescents to help them gain success both at home and at school. My practice includes parent coaching/counseling for the “difficult” child/adolescent, counseling from a neurocognitive perspective and is the only nonprofit clinic in the Michiana area to combine these psychological principles with the integration of speech and language therapy, cognitive remediation, and occupational therapy. I continue my work with teacher training, school testing, and consultation. I conduct workshops locally and nationally on a variety of topics, all dealing with pediatric biopsychosocial issues, cognition, behavior and parenting, complex language needs, memory and learning efficiency, ADHD processing, and Executive Functioning.
