I have worked with the young, adults and the elderly to treat behavior/anger, depression, anxiety, grief and trauma concerns. I have worked with addictions to alcohol and drugs. I have worked with domestic violence victims. I work to earn each client's trust and to provide a safe environment so that after the initial session, each client will recognize there is hope for their situation. I provide Christian counseling for those interested. I encourage clients to activate their usually under recognized resource in their spirituality. I am a compassionate listener affirming clients to increase their personal self-esteem. By a comprehensive bio-psycho-social-behavioral history, I assess the primary concerns of the client and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Experiential Therapy, to resolve issues related to anger and to grief/loss, which help the client become more effective in coping with their circumstances. I ask the Holy Spirit to be present in all my sessions and that each client experience the peace and hope that the Holy Spirit provides to those who are open to the Holy Spirit. Profound changes begin to occur and clients change and improve in their circumstances.
