The treatment practice specializes in adolescent and childhood disorders, bipolar disorders, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, depression and anxiety. Additional services include parenting education, dual-diagnosis, adolescent and parenting support groups, sports psychology and public speaking engagements. Unique for the industry, as a male counselor, Dr. Pittington brings more than 13 years of successful experience helping individuals in a variety of settings.From special-needs teacher, to collegiate women's head basketball coach, to Program Director of an adolescent residential facility, Pittington has the expertise to make a difference. Continuing to share his knowledge and insight, Dr. Pittington also recently co-authored the book, Protecting your Children From Bad Medicine: How the Diagnosis of ADHD has been Abused." Dr. Pittington has experience conducting trauma evaluations, educational assessments, mental health evaluations, social investigations and substance abuse evaluations as well as providing court ordered parent coordination.
