My five years of military practice which began just prior to 9-11, provided me with very broad and diverse exposure to a variety of mental health conditions. I learned to implement a variety of approaches to help address the unique needs of each client treated. This continues to be my emphasis in my private practice. I hope to provide treatment that is tailored specifically to the needs of my clientele. No two people are exactly alike and thus, their therapy shouldn't be either. As far as areas of specialty or focus in my practice, I would say that anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues and family of origin issues capture some of the areas I feel most confident in addressing, though I prefer to consider myself a generalist and enjoy maintaining variety in my practice.
