Trauma and PTSD--Loss and Grief. Trauma and loss are more prevalent in humans than recognized -- and stem from experiences that affect your basic sense of safety. For example: illness, divorce, a death, loss of a home, country, or a job--even spousal infidelity--can produce anxiety, fears, sadness, or just a feeling of not being satisfied in life. These could be lasting effects of trauma and/or loss. Each of us experiences trauma and loss in different ways. I am a Clinical Psychologist, Certified Clinician in EMDR and a practitioner of hypnosis. I can help you discover the hidden issues or experiences that don't allow you to feel fulfilled and satisfied in life. You can then process and let go of the underlying trauma or loss that interferes with your well-being. No matter your age or background, I can help you access strengths, existing skills, and offer information and support that will help you find ways to overcome the results of trauma and loss.
