I was Environmental Engineer before going to medical school. I treat all psychiatric problems. But I specialize in Addiction, Sexual dysfunctions, couples therapy including LGBT related issues. I use medications when necessary. All decisions are made in collaboration with the patient. Homework is often assigned to augment results. Along with usual addiction treatments, I am trained and certified in prescribing Suboxone(R) and Vivitrol(R). I have taken additional training for sexual dysfunction to address not just biological problems but also with psychological and relationship issues. My treatment approach is friendly to LGBT and alternative lifestyles as well.
