You don't have to grit your teeth and believe pain is just part of life. I can help you. I believe pain is a universal language that can be understood regardless of how or why we hurt. Although therapy can be tough and hard at times, I believe healing and light are possible in even the darkest situations. I specialize in posttraumatic stress, sexual trauma, mood disorders, grief, self-harm/suicide attempts, HIV/AIDS, veterans, and first-responders. Furthermore, as a veteran of the service industry, I offer guidance with mental health issues associated with industry workers and musicians. I work mainly from a theoretical perspective that helps uncover how past and present relationships impact the way we view ourselves, others, and the world we live in. I enjoy working with clients individually and in group settings, as well as working with couples and families. I am committed to providing culturally competent services. Working with individuals across a diverse range of race, gender, sexual identity, and socioeconomic status is one of my primary goals, as well as part of what I love about my job.
